Who: Corona Virus Probably Won't Go Away
No one can predict when the corona pandemic will be controlled.
WHO's Emergency Director stated that no one can predict when the corona pandemic will be controlled.
"This virus could become another endemic in our communities, this virus may never go away. I think it's important for us to be realistic," said WHO Emergency Director, Michael Ryan.
However, WHO still hopes that an effective vaccine against corona will still be developed even though it will take a long time to produce and distribute it throughout the world.
"No one can predict when this pandemic will end. But we have high hopes. If a vaccine is found and can be distributed to everyone, then maybe we have a chance to eliminate this virus," he added.
