Recently, the recommendation to worship #athome continues to be echoed as a step to break the chain of virus transmission. Including, the recommendation to perform Friday prayers #athome.
However, this recommendation raises many pros and cons in society.
Abi Quraish Shihab is of the view that worship should be done #athome so as not to cause harm to other people. Likewise with the fatwa issued by the MUI, "It is not recommended for those who are worried about negative health impacts, it is not recommended for them to attend congregational prayers."
