Ustaz Maaher Dies Due to Illness!
"I share my deepest condolences for the death of Ustadz Maheer, I wish you husnul khotimah," wrote Miftah on Instagram.
Gus Miftah admitted that he actually wanted to visit Ustaz Maaher who was being detained. However, it is hampered by several things.
"Several times I actually applied for permission to visit him in detention, but for one reason or another this has not been possible to date," said Miftah.
Gus Miftah also provided an explanation about his relationship with Ustaz Maaher. He said he never had any personal problems with the man whose real name was Soni Ernata.
Previously, it was known that Gus Miftah had entered into the depths of Ustaz Maaher's problems with Nikita Mirzani. He now considers arguments to be within normal limits.
"I don't have any personal problems with him, even if there was a slight argument between me and him, that would still be within normal limits," said Miftah.
Gus Miftah once again admitted that he was saddened by the death of Ustaz Maaher. He then expressed his prayers for the cleric.
"I really feel lost about his death, God willing, I and the students of the Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School will pray ghoib and pray for him. Goodbye Ustadz, hopefully all wrongdoings will be forgiven and all deeds of worship will be accepted... Alfatihah," said Miftah.
Just for your information, Ustaz Maaher died at the National Police Headquarters Detention Center. Maaher's body was taken to the National Police Hospital after complaining of illness.
"At around 20.00 WIB, he was taken to the National Police Hospital. Bakda Isya. And I am currently going to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital," said Maaher's attorney, Djudju Purwantoro, when contacted, Monday (8/2/2021).
Ustaz Maaher was detained at the National Police Criminal Investigation Detention Center after becoming a suspect in a case of hate speech on social media. He was arrested on December 4, 2020.
