Corona Update June 2: 27,549 Positive, 7,935 Recovered, 1,663 Died
Based on data received as of Tuesday (2/6/2020) at 12.00 WIB, it is known that there are 609 new cases of Covid-19 in the country.
This addition caused the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to rise to 27,549 cases, starting from when the first case was announced on March 2 2020.
"Positive confirmations increased by 609 people, bringing it to 27,549 cases," said government spokesperson for handling Covid-19, Achmad Yurianto in a press conference from Graha BNPB on Tuesday afternoon.
The same data also shows that there are an additional 298 Covid-19 patients who have now been declared cured. They have undergone two polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests and were declared negative for the corona virus.
Thus, a total of 7,935 Covid-19 patients in Indonesia have been declared cured.
However, there is still sad news with the discovery of Covid-19 patients who have died. There were 22 Covid-19 patients who died in the period 1 - 2 June 2020. In total, there were 1,663 Covid-19 patients in Indonesia who died.
