Corona Update May 18: 18,010 Positive, 1,191 Died, 4,324 Recovered
This means that transmission of the corona virus in Indonesia is still occurring.
During the last 24 hours, 496 new cases were recorded.
"The positive confirmation of Covid-19 increased by 496 people, to 18,010 people," said Achmad Yurianto when giving a press conference at Graha BNPB on Monday afternoon (18/5/2020).
Apart from the addition of positive cases, the number of patients declared healthy has also increased. Today, there are 195 additional recovered patients.
Thus, a total of 4,324 patients recovered after being declared to have Covid-19, Yuri added.
Of the more than 18 thousand positive cases of Covid-19, 43 people were declared in the last 24 hours.
"So (the total) is 1,191 people," said Achmad Yurianto.
Currently, positive cases of Covid-19 have attacked 389 districts/cities throughout Indonesia.
A total of 45,047 people currently have ODP status, or less people under monitoring, apart from that there are 11,422 people who are still patients under supervision.
