Rp1 billion in corruption money was returned
The Mojokerto District Prosecutor's Office, received a refund of state losses worth 1 billion 30 million rupiah, from the defendant of the Head of the Mojokerto Regency Disperindag, Didik Pancaning Agro, Tuesday afternoon.
Money worth more than 1 billion comes from the corruption case of river normalization in Jatirejo and Gondang Districts in 2016. The refund of this state loss was handed over directly by the defendant's family.
To ascertain the amount of money, the Mojokerto District Prosecutor's Office asked for help from bank officers to calculate it. Money calculation is done for more than 2 hours. Although it has been returned to the state, the legal process against the defendant continued until the decision from the Surabaya Corruption Court.
