Unity Indonesia Tutorial | Unity Basics
In this video we learn about the basics of the Unity application.
The unity used in this video is the Unity 2019.4.8f1 (64-bit) version.
The first thing you have to do is create a new project in Unity,
then the main Unity will appear. There are several tabs that are studied in this video.
Scane tab = functions as an editor view in the game editor
Hierarchy tab = contains a collection of objects from the game editor
Inspector tab = contains components attached to objects in the Hierarchy tab
Project tab = contains the assets/materials needed to make the game
Console tab = contains logs or notes on the game/application
Game tab = functions to display the final results of the game from the camera's point of view
So in the Unity concept, assets are the materials needed to make the game, which are then arranged on the Hierarchy tab for processing, which in the process is adding components and editing Scane. After processing, the game can be displayed on the games tab for testing. When finished, the game will be created using the build function in the file menu
