Reject tens of millions of money, prisoners in the Class I Lapas Tanjung Gusta are victims
In a viral video on social media, a prisoner said his colleague was beaten because he did not give money to the prison warden.

In the amateur video that was viral, a prisoner was seen suffering a number of bruises on the back, because they were allegedly persecuted, by Lapas Ward.
We were forced to disguise the image because it contained elements of violence.
In this video, fellow prisoners said, the reason for the persecution was allegedly because they did not want to be asked for money worth Rp30 million to Rp40 million by a prison guard.
This incident occurred in Class I Lapas Tanjung Gusta, Medan.

In his statement, Kalapas said, inmates in the video, involved in drug cases, and have undergone 7 out of 14 years of his verdict.
Regarding the causes and identity of the warders who were the perpetrators of the persecution, the Regional Office of the North Sumatra Kemenkumham was still conducting an internal investigation, by examining 10 witnesses, namely the target and warders.
Even so, if later there are officers who are proven to be persecuted, sanctions will be given according to the rules.
