Knock! The government sets the cost of the 2022 Hajj at IDR 39.8 million per congregation
From the agreement that emerged on Wednesday (13/4/2022), the Hajj Travel Fee (Bipih) for 2022 departures per congregation is IDR 39,886,009 million.
"The average cost of organizing the Hajj or BPIH for 1433 Hijriah 2022 AD per congregation is IDR 81,747,844.04, consisting of an average BPIH of IDR 39,886,009," said Chairman of Commission VIII DPR Yandri Susanto in a joint meeting with the Ministry of Religion, Wednesday (13/4/2022).

With this amount, the cost of this year's Hajj increases compared to the Hajj Travel Costs (Bipih) in 2020 which amounted to IDR 31.4 million to IDR 38.3 million per pilgrim, adjusted for departure embarkation.
As is known, prospective pilgrims who will depart this year are prospective pilgrims whose departure was delayed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, prospective pilgrims who will depart are not burdened with paying the price difference between Bipih in 2020 and 2022.
