TNI mobilized 6 warships in Natuna waters

RIAU - KOMPAS.TV - The TNI continues to patrol the waters of Natuna, Riau Islands, to check the existence of Chinese ships.

Meanwhile, the fishermen group in Natuna was restless with a fishermen's mobilization plan from Pantura.

A number of defense equipment deployed while conducting air patrols in Natuna waters, including the Boeing 737 strategic aircraft owned by the Indonesian Air Force, as well as four F-16 aircraft.

While sea patrols were carried out with six warships, including K-I Ciptadi, K-R-I Teuku Umar, and K-R-I Usman Harun.

Based on monitoring until Monday afternoon, there are no more Chinese ships around the outer boundaries of Indonesia's exclusive economic zones.

Responding to problems in Natuna waters, the Presidential Staff Office held a coordination meeting which was attended by a number of ministries.

Deputy for Law and Human Rights of the Presidential Staff Office, Jaleswari Pramodhawardani, said that a closed meeting was held to secure the vision of handling and development in Natuna.

Regarding the existence of Chinese ships around Natuna waters, the government reiterated that there was no negotiation regarding the sovereignty of the state.
