Regarding the demonstration to reject the omnibus law, Gatot Nurmantyo came to the National Police Headquarters asking our members to be released
Gatot's arrival to ask for the release of our activists who were arrested.
The argument between our group and police officers had occurred when Gatot Nurmantyo wanted to enter the National Police Chief.
But the group was not allowed to enter, other than because of too many, officers said the National Police Chief was not in place.
The group had tried to lobby to be able to head to the 15th floor to meet their detained colleagues.
Gatot Nurmantyo and his entourage finally had time to wait in the lobby, Bareksrim, to wait for permission to meet the National Police Chief and visit our members who were detained by the police.
A number of our tops have been arrested including Syahganda Nainggolan and Jumhur Hidayat, related to alleged hate speech on social media about demonstrations rejecting the work creation law.
The arrest was carried out in two different places, Jakarta and Medan.
The efforts of Gatot Nurmantyo and our officials to meet with National Police Chief Idham Azis did not produce results.
The National Police Chief today (10/15/2020) cannot be found because it is not in place, and the desire to visit our members has not yet received permission.
