Fierce! Indonesian Warship vs Chinese Coast Guard in the Natuna Sea

The Fleet I Command of the Indonesian National Army Navy reported the presence of the Chinese Coast Guard at the border of the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone in the North Natuna Sea, Thursday (2/1/2020). The Chinese Coast Guard is escorting several fishing boats from the Bamboo Curtain country which are carrying out fishing activities.

In a release received by CNBC Indonesia, Friday (3/1/2020), Head of Information Service for Fleet I, Lieutenant Colonel Marine (P) Fajar Tri Rohadi, said that the presence of the Chinese Coast Guard caused a reaction from the KRI-KRI operating in these waters. One of them is KRI Tjiptadi-381.
