How Far Is the Corona Virus Spread in Indonesia?
This group is called local transmission, where patient case 27 has no history of contact with positive patients or comes from abroad.
The first area of distribution of the corona virus which infected residents in the country was direct contact in the Jakarta area.
This area includes case 01, a 31 year old woman who met a foreigner from Japan.
Patient case 01 is related to patients cases 02, 10, 11, and 12.
From the same area, patients with cases 03, 04, 05, case 13, and most recently on Tuesday 10 March tested positive for cases 20 and 21.
The second regional group is the Diamond Princess ship in Yokohama, Japan, which infected patient case 06, a 36 year old man and has been declared to be improving with two negative results.
The next group of spread is imported cases, or those who tested positive for the corona virus after traveling abroad.
The latest cluster of spread, which the government calls local transmission, has infected a 33 year old man, as case number 27.
The patient has no history of contact or being in three other distribution areas.
