DKI Jakarta Satpol PP Wear 50 Million Rupiah to Habib Rizieq and FPI

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Provincial Government of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta gave administrative sanctions of 50 million rupiah to Habib Rizieq Shihab and the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) for violations of health protocols.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) submitted a fine in the form of a sanction letter, which was handed over directly by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP.

Kasatpol PP DKI Jakarta Arifin handed over the sanctions directly to the LPI Petamburan Secretariat Office, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (11/15/20) morning.

The violation in question was causing a crowd in the activities of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad and the marriage of Princess Habib Rizieq Shihab, which took place on Saturday (11/14/20) night.

In the letter it is written that the activities of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad and the marriage violated the Governor Regulation (Pergub) of DKI Jakarta Province Number 79 of 2020 and the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province Number 80 of 2020.

Kasatpol PP DKI Jakarta also appealed to the public to remain disciplined to implement a health protocol.

According to Arifin, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will not hesitate to crack down on health protocol violators related to COVID-19.
