Santri Pray Together for Explosion Victims in Lebanon
A joint prayer was held at the Al Qodiri Islamic Boarding School, Patrang District, Jember Regency on Thursday (06/08).
The family of Al Qodiri Islamic Boarding School's caretaker, Achmad Fadil Muzakki, said that the prayer with the students was an expression of condolences for the explosion tragedy in Beirut, Lebanon.
The students also prayed that the economy and development in Beirut, Lebanon would recover quickly.
As of August 6, it was reported that 135 people had died in the explosion and 5 thousand others had been injured.
Data from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Lebanon states that there was 1 Indonesian citizen who was a victim in this incident.
