One of the Attack Suspects Says that Novel Baswedan is a Betrayal
Wearing prisoner uniforms and handcuffed, the two suspects who attacked Novel Baswedan were taken to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters. Both were moved under tight guard.
While heading to the police vehicle, one of the suspects with the initials RB said that the motivation for attacking the novel was because he considered the novel to be a traitor.
When they arrived at the National Police Criminal Investigation Office, the two suspects who attacked Novel, who were active police officers, refused to answer journalists' questions about the reasons for carrying out the attack on the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) investigator, Novel Baswedan.
The police said they would investigate the motive for the attack on Novel Baswedan. The police will detain the two suspects for the next twenty days.
Before the two suspected attackers of Novel Baswedan were arrested, the police had distributed sketches of the alleged perpetrators several times.

The second sketch was shown by the police on November 24 2017 when the Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief, then General Idham Azis, visited and met the then Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission, Agus Rahardjo.
