There is no other choice for DKI Jakarta to be free from flooding, besides optimizing the Ciliwung River normalization program.
In the era of Governor Anies, the normalization project was replaced by the term Ciliwung River naturalization project.
In the naturalized program, Anies promised there was no eviction in revitalizing the river. This is the obstacle to continue the normalization program carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
During the Ciliwung River, Minister Basuki said, the plan to normalize Ciliwung from 33 kilometers, which was realized only 16 kilometers. So that this unformalized watershed area is flooded.
