Monas Revitalization Stopped, Observer: Must Decide, Don't Let It Stall
The DKI Provincial Government and DPRD reviewed the Monas revitalization project on Tuesday (28/01/2020) afternoon.
"Actually, we would prefer this (the revitalization of Monas) to continue. But because there are results from the coordination meeting with the DPRD, this has been temporarily stopped. We are waiting for the Minister of State Secretary to hold a meeting on this matter." explained Regional Secretary Saefullah when met in the Monas area.
Regarding the return of trees that had been cut down, Saefullah explained that this was impossible because the initial location had become a courtyard.
Regarding the unauthorized revitalization of Monas, Regional Secretary Saefullah has his own answer.
"Actually, UPT Monas, as the organizer of the competition, went to the Minister of State Secretary for involvement as one of the jury teams for the competition. So there has been involvement from the start." said Saefullah.
Responding to Saefullah's statement, Trisaksi University City Planning Observer Yayat Supriatna responded so that this problem could be resolved immediately.
