Hundreds of oil palm farmers in Pontianak demonstrated the demonstration, demanded a revision of profit sharing wages
PONTIANAK, KOMPAS.TV - The demonstration was held by hundreds of farmers in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Thursday (6/23/2022) morning.
In the action, the masses protested for profit sharing which was considered detrimental to farmers.
The demonstration was held by the mass of PT PSP palm oil farmers at the West Kalimantan DPRD office.
The protesters complained about the profit sharing worth Rp 50,000 to Rp 80,000 per hectare which they received every month.
The masses said, the profit sharing rules have been valid for almost 12 years.
The protesters ask for a revision of the agreement.
