President: Emergency PPKM will take place in Java and Bali
Emergency PPKM according to the plan will be implemented throughout Java and Bali. This is because of the high number of Covid-19 transmission in recent times in Java and Bali.
Responding to the President's statement, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan admitted that there was no special preparation regarding the planned implementation of the emergency PPKM which is now in the finalization stage.
According to Anies, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is currently focused on handling COVID-19 patients, and isolation. While the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, supported the steps of the central government to implement the Java-Bali emergency PPKM.
