Police Arrest Youth who claimed to be the family of the general when caught in the emergency PPKM raid
After the viral video on social media, the South Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately moved quickly to catch the teenager.
After being arrested, the young man clarified that the statement was not true.
"He claimed to have a brothers and sisters but after clarifying the statement was apparently incorrect," said AKBP Iman Imanuddin, South Tangerang Police Chief.
Faith explains that even though the suspect really has a brothers and sisters, officers will not look at the fur and will still prioritize the safety of the community so that the law must be upheld.
"Even though the person was concerned yesterday when the enforcement said he had a brothers and sisters but still the main safety of the community so that the law was indiscriminate and had to be upheld," said Iman
Because of his actions, the suspect who claimed to be a nephew of the two -star police general was languishing at the South Tangerang Police and was threatened with a sentence of one year in prison.
The incident began when a joint officer went around conducting an emergency PPKM raid activity, when he arrived in the Ciputat area, officers found the teenager did not wear a mask and ride a motorcycle without motorized completeness.
Officers immediately stopped the teenager and conducted an examination, that's when the teenager did not accept and immediately challenged the officer and even claimed to be the nephew of a two -star police general to escape the raid.
