JHT's Polemic Claims After the age of 56, a number of public figures of government policy criticism!
The disbursement of JHT funds is now unable to be as fast as before, but it can only be disbursed when BPJS Employment participants stopped working or were exposed to laid layoffs of 56 years.
The government through the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) issued Permenaker Number 2 of 2022 concerning Procedures and Requirements for Payment of Old Age Security Benefits.
In the regulation, written benefits JHT will be given to BPJS Employment participants at the age of 56 years.
In Article 3, it is stated that the benefits of JHT for participants who reach retirement age as referred to in Article 2 letter a are given
to participants at the time of the age of 56 years.
In fact, in the previous rule, Permenaker number 19 of 2015, Dana JHT could be claimed one month after workers resigned from work.
The Indonesian Trade Union Alliance Congress (Kasbi) is concerned about the new Menaker regulations.
Kasbi rate, this policy has a great impact on the workforce, especially those affected by layoffs, especially in the Covid-19 Pandemic period.
Responding to a number of rejections that emerged about this rule, the Special Staff of the Menaker, Dita Indah, explained that this decision was made so that the purpose of JHT was in accordance with its designation; Namely guaranteeing the old age of the participants.
The Ministry of Manpower also ensured that the participant funds were included in my person who could not be used by other parties including the government.
JHT's new rule was determined by Menaker, Ida Fauziyah, on February 2, 2022 and was promulgated on February 4, 2022.
Thus, this regulation came into force three months after being enacted, namely May 4, 2022.
