West Sumatra Regional Police said the motive for the suspect Moge Geber Motor to TNI Soldiers

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - West Sumatra Police Public Relations Head of Kombes Satake Bayu revealed the motives of the Moge community suspect who drove motorbikes before scraping TNI soldiers in Bukittinggi, Friday (10/30/2020).

"Maybe because they drove moge vehicles at high speed while they might feel that there was excitement they did something like that," he said when contacted by KompasTV.

Kombes Satake Bayu said that now there are 13 motorbikes that are secured for the process of checking the completeness of vehicle administration and are now still in the process of inspection.

The chronology of the beating and persecution of TNI soldiers began when the two victims namely Serda Mistari and Serda Yusuf were riding.

Both of them also heard the sound of the Bukittinggi Police Siren Patwal who escorted the moge group.

Both of them also had the chance to marginalize the vehicle and invited the group of moge passing by.

When the two continued their journey, they met several moge riders who were left behind by the group.

The two victims were shocked until they fell when the Moge driver drove his motorcycle.

The victim also tried to chase the Moge driver and stop him.

After falling the two victims tried to catch up and stop the moge driver, the moge group stopped.

The two victims were involved in an argument with a moge driver.

Although they have said that both of them are TNI soldiers, the group of Moge drivers continued to pursue and gang up on the two victims.

Not only that, both of them were also threatened with being shot.

Residents around the scene were trying to break up the moge group.

After the beating, the group of Moge drivers immediately continued the journey.
