West Java Regional Police Names Bahar Bin Smith and Video Uploader Tr as Suspects in Hate Speech Case
Bahar was asked approximately 30 questions.
According to Bahar Smith's attorney, investigators asked basic questions during this examination.
Apart from Bahar Smith, investigators also examined TR, who played the role of uploading the video of Bahar Smith's lecture.
After conducting a case title and examining 52 witnesses, the police named Bahar Smith as a suspect in the alleged hate speech case.
After being named a suspect, Bahar was immediately detained at the West Java Regional Police Headquarters.
Bahar Smith was named a suspect in hate speech along with the spreader of the viral video of his lecture.

This decision was obtained after the two of them were questioned for more than nine hours by investigators from the Ditreskrimsus and Ditreskrimum Polda West Java.
The results of the examination, plus statements from two witnesses, as well as confiscated evidence; produced two pieces of evidence that could be used as a basis for determining the status of Bahar Smith and TR as suspects
