Sighting of Foreign Ship Caught by Indonesian Navy Air Patrol Camera in Natuna

This is the appearance of a number of foreign ships caught on camera by an Indonesian Navy air patrol plane crossing Indonesian waters.

The Indonesian Navy's Boeing aircraft carrying out this patrol recorded the foreign ships. This foreign ship entered the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone and the boundaries of the Indonesian continental shelf.

This Indonesian Navy patrol aircraft recorded and searched for the coordinates of the foreign ship. Patrol cameras also found and tracked this ship.

Previously, TNI members were preparing in Natuna waters to carry out combat alert operations. This combat alert operation was carried out by Koarmada 1 and Koopsau 1.

The TNI has also alerted a number of defense equipment. The defense equipment that has been put on alert are 3 Republic of Indonesia (KRI) ships, 1 maritime reconnaissance aircraft and 1 Indonesian Air Force Boeing aircraft. There are still 2 more KRIs heading to Natuna.

This operation was carried out because a Chinese ship entered and violated Indonesia's Exclusive Economic Zone or EEZ in Natuna waters.

Regarding this issue, previously the Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, summoned the Chinese Ambassador in Jakarta and expressed its strong protest. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Chinese Ambassador noted that the protest submitted was immediately forwarded to Beijing.
