This morning, Thursday (8/13/2020) Mount Sinabung erupted the fifth time this year, the ash column of 3,460 above sea level
The ash column was observed as high as 1,000 meters above the peak or 3,460 meters above sea level.

The moderate intensity ash column is leaning to the east, southeast and south.
Eruptions are recorded by sismograph with a maximum amplitude of 15 mm and duration of 719 seconds.
Quoted from the web magma.esdm.go.id, Thursday (8/13/2020), the community is advised not to carry out activities in the village that has been relocated.
It is also prohibited from doing any activity at a location within a three kilometer radius from the top of the mountain.
The community is also advised to wear a mask when leaving the house to reduce the health effects of volcanic ash.
Then for people who live near rivers that are bounced on Mount Sinabung, they are advised to be aware of the dangers of lava.
The eruption of Mount Sinabung is the fifth eruption this year.
Previously Mount Sinabung had experienced an eruption on Saturday (8/8/2020) twice, at 01.58 WIB and 17.18 WIB.
Then Monday (10/8/2020) twice, at 10.16 WIB and 11.17 WIB.
