Aqua Factory in Sukabumi Closed Due to Flooding, Management Guarantees Safe Supply
This followed flash floods that occurred in Sukabumi on Monday (21/9/2020) evening.
This is done to ensure the safety and security of employees.
This news was confirmed by Danone Indonesia's Corporate Communications Director, Arif Mujahidin on Tuesday (22/9/2020).
"We have temporarily stopped the PT Aqua Golden Mississippi production facility to ensure the safety and security of our employees," he said.
He said the company immediately took various security measures to ensure the best quality for consumers.
Apart from that, it is also to ensure that product supplies can be met.
Quoted from Kompas.com, Tuesday (22/9/2020), Arif said that his party was focused on carrying out handling efforts within the affected factories and working together to help those affected by this flash flood.
He ensured that this condition had no implications for the quality and service of Aqua products.
Regarding supply, Arif guaranteed that it was because there were still other factory facilities.
