"One Way" Cikampek Toll Road to Kalikangkung Semarang Abolished, Replaced by "contraflow", This is the Point
The one way system was stopped starting from the Jakarta - Cikampek toll road Km 47 to the Kalikangkung toll road Km 414 on Saturday (30/4/2022) morning.
The one way scheme was abolished considering that the flow of vehicles from the west was starting to decline.
The police also revealed the latest traffic engineering on the Japek toll road to the Kalikangkung toll road.
Several sections of road will be replaced by implementing a contraflow or counter-flow scheme.
Head of the National Police's Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas), Inspector General Firman Santyabudi, said that homecoming flow normalization had been carried out on the Cikampek Toll road section Km 47 to Km 70 Cikampek Main Toll Gate (GT Cikatama) since 07.00 WIB.
His party implemented a two-lane contraflow from Jakarta to the east and one lane was used from Bandung to Jakarta.
Then, starting at 08.00 WIB, the one way scheme was also closed and normalized from Km 70 GT Cikatama to Km 414 GT Kalikangkung.
Starting from Km 70 GT Cikatama to Km 86 there will be one lane contraflow.
This is done to accommodate the flow of vehicles departing from Jakarta to the east.
The reverse flow from the east of Kalikangkung to Jakarta is normalized using two lanes until KM 86.
"From Km 70 Cikatama, one lane contraflow will be implemented up to Km 86 to accommodate the flow from Jakarta to the east," he said.
Meanwhile, for Km 86 to Km 414 of the Kalikangkung toll road, engineering on this route will be implemented normally.
"Flows from the east (Kalikangkung) to Jakarta are also normalizing," he said.
Meanwhile, the process of sterilizing the lane from the Kalikangkung GT has been carried out towards the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road in preparation for the one way closure.
Kapospam Integrated GT Kalikangkung, Ipda Riyadi, said that his party was just waiting for orders from the National Police Headquarters to normalize the toll route to GT Kalikangkung.
"On average, the number of vehicles has decreased today. Because the peak was predicted to be yesterday, Friday (29/4/2022). It is not too busy, there has been a decrease," explained the Head of the Kalikangkung GT Integrated Pospam, Ipda Riyadi at the location, Saturday.

Data as of April 30, 2022 at. 06.00 - 10.00 WIB, the number of vehicles passing through GT Kalikangkung was 9,437 vehicles.
Meanwhile, as of April 29 2022, 06.00-10.00 WIB, the number of vehicles passing through GT Kalikangkung was 12,148 vehicles.(*)
