Mui Jakarta Will Create Cyber Army, DKI Provincial Government: To Prevent Hoaxes
Riza believes that the MUI DKI program can ward off hoax news that appears on social media, including protecting Ulama and the Governor of DKI from cyber attacks.
Riza reminded that in the current digital era, people must be careful not to spread hoaxes.

Previously, Islamic political observer from The Political Literacy, Muhammad Hanifuddin, assessed the DKI Jakarta MUI's decision to form a cyber army to assist DKI Governor Anies Baswedan as a good decision, even though it was a little late.
Hanif mentioned three crucial points regarding the DKI MUI decision. He believes that the DKI MUI needs to provide an explanation so that the public is not surprised and also thinks negatively about these cyber troops.
Moreover, he said, this team is not just for Anies, but also protects ulama.
"First, MUI's awareness regarding the importance of MUI having experts and a cyber team should be appreciated. This is a step forward, but very late," he said to KOMPAS TV via online message, Saturday (20/11/2021).
"Secondly, this cyber team must be objective, accurate, balanced and not partisan. MUI information and preaching must be a protector and mediator of conflicting opinions in society," he added.
"Third, the cyber team must present facts about the government's strengths and weaknesses in a balanced way. This is part of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. If the regional government has achievements, then it must be appreciated and supported. However, if it has neglected to realize the benefit of the people/civil society, then it must be criticized and reminded politely," he added.
