Entering Indonesian Territory Without Permission, Malaysian Plane Forced to Land TNI AU!

BATAM, KOMPAS.TV A foreign civil aircraft with Call Sign VOR06 was ordered by the Indonesian Air Force to land at Hang Nadim Air Base, Batam on Friday (13/5)

The plane was asked to land because it flew into Indonesian airspace without permission and did not have complete flight documents.

The aircraft is known to belong to a Malaysian company which was carrying out a mission to calibrate aircraft navigation aids by British FCSL company pilots.

The plane was also flown by a pilot from England with the initials MJT and Copilot TVB and CMP as Crew

The Indonesian Air Force had alerted an F-16 to carry out an interception. However, this did not happen because the Malaysian flight crew obeyed instructions.

The pilot and crew were then medically examined according to the Covid-19 protocol and taken to the isolation room at Airnav Batam.

During the inspection, no dangerous or illegal items were found.
