Luhut threatened the firm action of those who raised the price of Ivermectin
Ivermectin is currently being used for the Covid-19 treatment therapy clinical test in Indonesia.
In Kompas.TV monitoring, Ivermectin prices in a number of online marketplaces have risen dozens of times from what they should.
"It appears that the price of the drug began to be irregular. Raised, so it was like Ivermectin to what price tens of thousands even though it was actually only Rp 7,800 (per item)," he said at a virtual press conference, Saturday (3/7).
Luhut also asked the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin to set the price of Ivermectin under Rp 10 per item during Pandemi.
Luhut emphasized that he would take firm action against parties who deliberately raise the price of Ivermectin to take advantage. He also requested that the National Police Criminal Investigation not hesitate to take action against the person.
"I ask Kabareskrim, do not hesitate we are in an emergency like this, not firm people who play. I don't have any business," said Luhut.
