Lebaran holiday and joint leave are officially determined, the President asked to be aware of the surge of travelers
The leave together with Eid al -Fitr was set on April 29 and 4, until May 6, 2022.
After two years of being abolished due to Pandemi Covid-19, the government allowed Lebaran homecoming to be held again this year.
Lebaran homecoming is allowed to be held again, along with the decline in COVID-19 cases.
President Joko Widodo also asked all parties to be aware of the surge in the number of Lebaran travelers 2022.
The President said, the homecoming flow could be beyond estimated.
Anticipating this, the President instructed the National Police to the TNI, and the Ministry of Transportation Coordinated to prepare anticipation of travelers.

Although Lebaran homecoming is again allowed to be held this year, a number of requirements must be met by prospective travelers.
As a condition for Lebaran homecoming, residents must have obtained two Covid-19 vaccine doses, and booster vaccinations.
Residents who have not been vaccinated by booster, but have received two Covid-19 vaccine doses, must include negative results of the antigen test.
Meanwhile, residents who just got a dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, must include the negative results of the PCR test.
In addition, to prevent the increase in Covid-19 cases when the Lebaran homecoming was held, residents were obliged to always comply with the health protocol.
