Investigators from the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) Bareskrim Polri named the leader of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, Panji Gumilang, as a suspect in the alleged criminal act of religious blasphemy. Panji Gumilang was immediately detained. Karopenmas, National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, said that Panji was detained after investigators named Panji Gumilang as a suspect, Tuesday (1/8/2023).
