Jokowi Rejects Zelensky's Request to Send Arms Aid to Ukraine Against Russia
President Jokowi communicated by telephone with President Zelensky on April 27 2022.
On this occasion, President Jokowi asked about the condition of Ukraine which was being invaded by Russia.

According to Jokowi, Zelensky asked for weapons assistance from Indonesia to help Ukraine fight Russia.
However, President Jokowi rejected Zelensky's request.
President Jokowi argued that in accordance with the constitutional mandate, Indonesia prohibits arms assistance to other countries. However, President Jokowi is ready to send humanitarian aid.
"I emphasize that in accordance with the mandate of the Indonesian constitution and the principles of Indonesian foreign policy, it is prohibited to provide weapons assistance to other countries," stressed Jokowi.
