Jht Cair Age 56, Kasbi: Regulations Do Not Favor Workers
Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah released new regulations for the disbursement of Old Age Security or JHT funds, namely for a minimum retirement age of 56 years and will be implemented starting May 2022. These provisions are stated in Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 2 of 2022 concerning procedures and requirements for payment of Old Age Security benefits. However, this regulation has sparked polemics because it is considered not in favor of workers. And it is suspected that these funds will be used by the government. So what are the concerns regarding managing JHT funds?
