The General who wrote the travel documents for Djoko Tjandra was immediately removed from his position by the National Police Chief

Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo will undergo an examination at the National Police Propam for 14 days, regarding the preparation of a travel document for Djoko Tjandra.
Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, said that the removal was carried out to make the investigation by Propam easier.
Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo has now been transferred to the National Police headquarters service. Propam Polri will also examine the possible involvement of other police officers.
Based on the initial investigation, Brigadier General Prasetyo issued a travel letter for Djoko Tjandra on his own initiative without permission from the leadership. Argo added, apart from Brigadier General Prasetyo, everyone involved in the letters must be processed.
Previously, the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society or MAKI submitted a photo of Djoko Tjandra's travel document to Commission III of the DPR.
MAKI Coordinator Boyamin Saiman was received directly by the chairman and a number of members of Commission III DPR.
The travel letter referred to by MAKI contains travel data for Djoko Tjandra as a consultant, using an airplane from Jakarta to Pontianak on June 19 2020, and returning to Jakarta on June 22 2020.
Boyamin hopes that the photo of the travel document will be discussed during a joint working meeting between Commission III of the DPR, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the police and the prosecutor's office.
