Bridge worth 25.9 billion collapsed in Pangkalpinang
The bridge is in the process of work.
This bridge is a Pangkalpinang City Government project with a total budget of 25.9 billion rupiah.
The funds from the project were taken from the Pangkalpinang City APBD.
This bridge is named the water fiber bridge, or hangers.
This bridge is planned to be an icon of Pangkalpinang City.
The dredging has been carried out since April 22, 2020, and is targeted to be completed on December 17, 2020.
One eyewitness Yuliantina said, the incident occurred at night, after the Maghrib prayer.
"After sunset, there is a sound ... collapsed directly, falling directly into the water," Yuliantina said when interviewed.
Luckily, there were no fatalities in the incident. However, two construction workers suffered injuries from being hit by a bridge.
