East Java Experiences the Highest Increase in Corona Positives
East Java Province is now the second region in Indonesia with positive cases of the corona virus or Covid-19.
Epidemiologists say that this spike cannot be separated from the large number of people's movements and activities even though there are Large-Scale Social Restrictions or PSBB in place.
The distribution of corona or Covid-19 cases in East Java is still showing an increasing trend.
Even though in a number of areas, such as Greater Surabaya, the government has implemented PSBB, in the national corona distribution map, East Java is now in second place with the most cases, shifting the position of West Java.
East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa explained that the increase in corona cases in East Java was the result of rapid testing and tracking.
