Iwan Fals - Selamat (official Music Video)
The song Selamat and the album Pun Aku, coming on September 3 2021, right on Iwan Fals' 60th birthday
On September 3 2021, Iwan Fals released the single Selamat. At the same time, he also fulfilled the longing of many people by releasing his 42nd album, Even Me. This full album was produced by Musica Studio's and produced by Rambu Cikal and Lafa Pratomo.
Before Selamat was released, two singles from this album were already on the air; 16/01 which was written together and also features Sandrayati Fay and Merah Putih which was launched as a personal gift from Iwan Fals for the 76th Indonesian Independence a few weeks ago.
These three singles are included in the album Pun Aku.
For the first time in Iwan Fals' long career, he released an album on his birthday. In 2021, he will reach the age of 60 years.
Even Aku is filled with twelve songs with a total playing time of 55 minutes. In it, there are a number of collaborative compositions featuring Iwan Fals with a number of musicians across generations who give a new color to his musical career.
Collaboration is not a strange thing in its long journey. But, I also show a different side. Almost all of the collaborators are women and each of them is challenged to find new pieces that are often different from the norm and become a meeting point for artistic work.
I also featured names such as Danilla, Nadin Amizah, NonaRia, Sandrayati Fay and Rara Sekar. Apart from that, there were special appearances from Maizura, Zara Leola, Shakira Jasmine, Regina Poetiray, Difki Khalif, Rheno Poetiray and Stevan Pasaribu. They became background singers in the song Kabar Aroma Tanah.
This entire album can be listened to on various streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Resso Music, Joox, Deezer, Tiktok and several others. Meanwhile, currently Musica Studio's is working on plans to release this album in physical form, just like Iwan Fals has done for years.
