This is what Jokowi said about doctors who trembled when injecting the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV President Joko Widodo explained why Abdul Muttalib was shaking when injecting him with the covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday (13/1/2021) morning.

Jokowi explained that he also saw when doctor Abdul Muttalib was shaking when he was about to carry out the vaccination. He thought the doctor felt a little afraid because this Covid-19 vaccination was the first in Indonesia.

The President explained this in a press statement on the Presidential Secretariat YouTube channel.

"Yes, there was a little fear because I also saw that he, Professor Abdul Muttalib, was shaking a little. So maybe this was because it was also the first vaccine," said Jokowi

"And maybe the President also gave the injection. Moreover, this was also broadcast live on television. So maybe Doctor Abdul Muttalib might be shaking a little," he continued.

Even so, Jokowi considered Abdul Muttalib to be very experienced in his field and Jokowi admitted that he did not feel sick when the vaccine was injected.

Previously, Deputy Presidential Doctor Abdul Muttalib admitted that he felt nervous before injecting the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine into the body of the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Injecting the first person in Indonesia of course there is a feeling of nervousness," said Prof Abdul.

"There were no problems when injecting it, no more shaking when I injected it, just the first tremor. In fact, there was no bleeding at all when injecting it," he continued.
