The pre-construction phase is expected to be completed in June, before the Indonesian Motor Racing Federation (FIM) carries out homologation.

The Mandalika Circuit will have a 4.31 kilometer track with 17 corners. What's special is that the Mandalika Circuit is in the middle of a tourist complex which is a special economic area surrounded by the unique natural beauty of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

The Mandalika Circuit is also the only MotoGP race track that uses the street circuit concept in the modern era, which is different from other street circuits such as in Macau and Singapore.
