Today Polda Metro Jaya will summon Habib Rizieq Shihab and his son-in-law
The plan for the summons was conveyed by the Head of the Public Information Bureau, Public Relations Division (Karopenmas Divhumas) of the National Police, Brigadier General Pol Awi Setiyono, when releasing the latest Security and Order situation at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on Monday (30/11/20).
Previously, the police had given a summons to Rizieq Shihab, on Sunday (29/11/20) afternoon. The summons letter was delivered directly to Rizieq Shihab's residence in Petamburan III, Central Jakarta.
A small incident occurred when the police delivered the summons. FPI troops guarding the entrance to Rizieq Shihab's residence blocked the police from entering.
However, after dialogue, the police were finally allowed to enter to deliver Rizieq's summons. Head of the State Security Sub Directorate, Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Raindra Ramadhan personally delivered the summons letter.
Muhammad Rizieq Shihab was summoned in his capacity as a witness to the crowd that occurred in Petamburan some time ago.
The police have launched a case and escalated this case to investigation level. The police discovered a criminal act in the crowd case in Petamburan.
This criminal act is related to violations of Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine and violations of health protocols.
