This was conveyed by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arifin Tasrif, during a working meeting with the House of Representatives Commission VII, last Wednesday (4/13).
Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission VII, Eddy Soeparno asked the government to oversee the use of subsidized fuel such as Pertalite to be on target and ensure the availability of diesel stock, before raising prices.
Director of the Center of Economic and Law Studies, Bhima Yudhistira rate, what the government must do at this time is to maintain price stability so that there is no decrease in people's purchasing power.
The price of Pertalite, at present, is still tag of Rp 7,650 per liter, while diesel fuel is still sold for Rp. 5,150 per liter.
The government must consider the plan to increase fuel so that there is no social turmoil in the community.
So, is it true that the planned increase in the price of Pertalite and Solar is the only way so that the APBN is balanced and Indonesia is not mired due to the high price of world oil?
