Facing Panji Gumilang's lawsuit, Mui prepares a legal team
MUI also responded by preparing its legal team.
Responding to this, the Indonesian Ulema Council also invited the leader of the Al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School to file a lawsuit.
MUI has prepared a team to handle the legal process regarding Anwar Abbas' actions which were sued by Panji Gumilang, MUI considers this in the context of clarification.
Through his attorney, Panji Gumilang sued MUI for immaterial losses amounting to IDR 1 trillion.
The lawsuit was filed because he received a number of accusations based only on video clips on social media.
