Because of the Privacy Policy, WhatsApp is Abandoned
The short messaging application WhatsApp has created a new policy which will take effect on February 8 2021. This policy has had its pros and cons, because it is feared that users' personal data will be shared with WhatsApp's parent company, Facebook.
A number of heads of state and figures have even called on the public to delete the WhatsApp application and switch to other messaging applications. Messaging applications such as Signal and Telegram are widely downloaded on the Google Play application store and App Store, beating WhatsApp.
Is it true that WhatsApp's privacy policy threatens personal data and how safe is it when an application claims its features are the safest? Listen to the following explanation from Akun.com's Cyber Security Observer, Alfons Tanujaya.
