[Full] Corona Update April 16: 5516 positive, 548 people cured

JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - The government said that there was still a transmission of the Corona virus in the community which made the number of Covid -19 patients continue to grow.

Based on data collected until Thursday (4/16/2020) at 12.00 WIB, there was an addition of 380 cases and caused a total of 5,516 COVID-19 cases in the country

This was revealed by a government spokesman for handling the Corona Achmad Yurianto virus at a press conference at Graha BNPB on Thursday afternoon.

"The positive confirmation of Coronovirus or Covid-19 from PCR examination is 5,516 people," said Achmad Yurianto.

The addition of 102 Covid-19 patients was declared cured. The addition caused the total number of patients who were declared cured and negative corona virus based on two examinations there were 548 people.

But there is still sad news with the addition of 27 Covid-19 patients in Indonesia who died. Thus, accumulated there were 496 patients died after being infected with the Corona virus.

Yuri also conveyed that the addition of this amount was caused by the number of positive cases without symptoms. So that the importance of the community to always maintain physical distance to break the chain of the spread of Corona.
