[Full] Police Reveal Gus Nur's motif regarding his words about NU on YouTube videos

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Police revealed that Sugi Nur alias Gus Nur felt the current NU with NU which was already different. This is the motive of Gus Nur to convey its content in an interview on YouTube.

"The suspect SN that we get the motive for the person to make the content because it conveys on YouTube that the person concerned cares about NU. The person concerned feels that the current NU with the previous different," said Karopenmas Public Relations Police Headquarters Brigadier General Awi Setiyono (27/10/2020).

So far the police have examined 4 witnesses related to the alleged hate speech case against NU allegedly carried out by Gus Nur.

A number of experts were also examined, namely criminal experts and linguists. Whereas ITE experts are still waiting for the results of digital forensic examinations. After the digital forensic results come out, ITE experts will then be examined.

The police will also examine the parties related to the YouTube content.

"Who records, who edits, who invites or uploads, including those who interview all we will call. Everything will be called," said Brigadier General Awi Setiyono at the Criminal Investigation Police, Jakarta, Monday (10/27/2020).
