[FULL] Nadiem's ​​explanation regarding the elimination of the National Examination and other breakthroughs

Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) Nadiem Makarim stated that the ministry of education and culture would overhaul the current education system in Indonesia. To change this education system, Nadiem Makarim gave schools the freedom and flexibility to be creative. There are four things that will be changed in this new education system, including: National Standard School Examinations (USBN), National Examinations, Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), and Zoning Regulations for Accepting New Students (PPDB).

Nadiem hopes that these four programs can become a direction for future learning in accordance with the intentions of the president and vice president, in order to improve the quality of human resources

One of the most popular programs is the removal of national exams or UN from the student curriculum. The abolition of this national exam will begin in 2021. This means that 2020 will be the last year for students to carry out national exams. The UN is also implemented using the old mechanism.
