Democratic Faction '' Walk Out '' from the plenary session of the ratification of the work creation bill
Of the nine factions in the DPR, two factions namely the Democratic Faction and the PKS Faction rejected the bill.
The plenary session was marked by a heat debate between Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Azis Syamsuddin and Democratic Party Faction member Benny K. Harman who asked his faction to be given the opportunity to convey the rejection of the Job Cipta Bill.
The heat debate led to the decision of the Democratic Party faction who chose to walk out from the discussion of the ratification of the work creation bill.
Meanwhile in his explanation, the Chairman of the DPR Legislative Board Supratman Andi Agtas said that this bill had arranged a job loss guarantee program.
While the matter of termination of employment remains in accordance with the Manpower Law.
Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security Mahfud MD asked the public not to be pessimistic about this law.
According to Mahfud, every law that was ratified was natural that there was a rejection from the public and the completion of the rejection of the Act had a path, namely the material test to the Constitutional Court.
The rejection of this bill was voiced by a number of labor groups, one of which was the Confederation of the Indonesian Workers Union (KSPI).
KSPI Secretary General Riden Hatam Aziz said he was surprised about this ratification because this bill had reaped rejection from various parties.
