The Phenomenon of Early Homecoming, Homecomers Have Not Yet Determined When to Return to Jakarta

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Even though they have been advised not to go home, residents are still quite busy returning to their hometowns via Pulo Gebang Terminal, East Jakarta.

There are various reasons why people want to go home, including family needs.

Pulo Gebang Terminal is still busy with residents who want to return to a number of areas on the island of Java.

They spontaneously decided to return to their hometown after Jabodetabek received corona emergency response status.

These travelers are still considering when to return to the capital, waiting for conditions to return to normal or after Eid.

In one of the areas where travelers from Jabodetabek arrived, a data collection post was set up by the local authorities.

At the Koncar bus terminal, Lumajang, East Java, passengers who have just got off the bus must fill out a form and answer the officers' questions regarding their identity and health condition.

The travelers' body temperature was checked and the buses were sprayed with disinfectant, preventing the spread of the corona virus in the Lumajang area, East Java.

Since last weekend, around 2,300 passengers from Jabodetabek have disembarked at Koncar Terminal.
